Whether you have a Harry Potter buff in the family that wants to ride the Hogwarts Express at Universal Studios, a little one who dreams of meeting a Disney princess at Magic Kingdom, or kids of all ages that want an all-inclusive experience on th...

If you're a total beach lover - this is a perfect destination for you!  The Dominican Republic is known for its beautiful white sand beaches and stunning turquoise blue waters.  It also offers enough activities to keep the whole family busy - it's a win-win for everyone!

The Punta Cana airport might be one of my favorites. Upon landing you immediately feel welcomed to this tropical destination by the friendly locals working at the thatched roof airport. One thing to keep in mind is that when traveling to the Dominican you will need a Tourist Card but we'll take care of that ahead of time so you have a quicker process at the airport. For us customs was a breeze.. a quick 15-20 minute process and we were on our way!

We stayed at the Hard Rock Punta Cana located north of Bavaro Beach.  If you've ever been to a Hard Rock you'd know that the atmosphere here is unlike any other. Everywhere you go - the restaurants, bars, pool areas, lobby, and even the elevators - have legendary rock and roll music playing so it has an amazing vibe to it.  The rooms at this resort are phenomenal and probably my favorite out of all the resorts I've visited. We stayed in the lead-in room category which was a Caribbean Suite but our room was quite large and had an indoor spa tub.  The huge balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast!

On property here they have nine restaurants and a few bars but the best part would be the 11 POOLS they have!  You'll find 8 pools facing towards the ocean and 3 pools overlooking the lagoon.  Whether you're traveling with kids or just adults you're sure to find a spot that suits you because they have kids pools as well as the Eden pool which is adults only.

Other great features about the Hard Rock would include the golf course onsite, the casino area, Oro nightclub, and the Rock Spa.  It's a great resort for everyone - couples, families, singles, etc.

In the Dominican there are many, many activities available off resort property including Saona Island Day Trips, snorkeling, sailing, horseback riding, ATV tours, ziplining, and much more.

On the second day of our trip we decided to do a Side-by-Side Adventure.  On this tour we drove an ATV through the jungle before stopping to swim in a lagoon with the most beautiful crystal-clear waters.  After that we headed to Playa Blanca beach which is another gorgeous spot!  At Playa Blanca we were given free time to lay out or wade in the water. The whole tour was about 5 hours but I would definitely do it again!

The following day we went on a Catamaran Cruise that allowed us some time to snorkel and see tropical, colorful fish.  After about an hour in the water we were taken to a sandbar to sip some Mamajuana (a popular local Dominican drink) and mingle with our fellow cruisers.

If I can assist with your trip to this hotspot please don't hesitate to reach out!
